How would you help your little kid to have a better performance at school?
Help your little kid ………………grow!
There is no doubt that our mother’s love for her child is inexhaustible, as it is her desire to see it progressing and becoming a really useful human being! It is, however, our insecurity that dominates us, creating many questions in the mother’s mind…. Is my child growing right? Is the nutrition I am giving to it the right one for its body and mental growing? Are there any “must” and “must not” that I should know? How my child will have a strong immune system and a “sharp” mind? The correct and balanced nutrition of EACH child, is the starting point for its right growing ATTENTION: Every parent should be taking care of its child’s right nutrition, since a bad and poor diet may cause a serious damage on the lymph system of the child and in general produce a cost for its health! To reinforce the organism’s defense system of every little kid (and not only) a nutrition rich in Vitamins (A, B, E, C) is required, as well as in metals (as iron, zinc and selenium). A good building needs strong foundation! It is quite important, from an early age, to introduce the child in this ritual of food and to take care that is going to have good nutritional habits as it grows older. Parents’ behaviour is responsible to a great extent, on this process. So a mystery parent, with nutritional peculiarities, will most probably educate a child with similar peculiarities and nutritional problems. The parent’s role is extremely important on the child’s nutrition and more specifically during the period it shapes up its character and its nutritional habits! The child should follow a programme of integrated nutrition, of many and small meals during the day, which will feed it with energy and they will provide assistance on its body and mental growing! CHILDREN’S AGE MINIMUM DAILY INTAKE OF CALORIES MAXIMUM DAILY INTAKE OF CALORIES 12 months 550 calories 1100 calories from 13 months up to 2 years 700 calories 1400 calories From 2 years up to 3 years 850 calories 1650 calories NOTE: The ideal amount of calories is somewhere in the middle, between the minimum and the maximum values! Should my child consume carbohydrates? YES! The child should receive all the nutritional groups of food! Even the carbohydrates (like bread, cereals, pasta, the potatoes and rice) are extremely beneficial and necessary for its growth! Especially the carbohydrates are a nutritional group, existing in the child’s nutrition every day, while it is not necessary for the other 4 groups to be consumed on a daily basis! It is necessary to have fruits and vegetables to some of the child’s meals, as well as the dairy products, unlike the proteins which may be absent for a day with no problem at all! The term protein is used for both the animal (as the meat, the chicken, the fish and the eggs) and the plant protein (as legumes, seeds, nuts). How would I make my child smarter? Certainly with the right nutrition. The right nutrition can help a child to concentrate more on the course and to increase its performance in the lessons. Some of the foods for smart kids are: · oranges · bananas · eggs · spinach · milk · fish · meat · walnuts · chicken · liver |
